The thermally insulated jetting modules produce finest, solid CO2 snow particles from liquid CO2. The jetting modules are usually supplied with cold liquid CO2 down to -20 °C. As a result, about 30 % of the operating costs compared to liquid CO2 at ambient temperature can be saved. These small dry ice particles are then dosed into the compressed air flow directly in the nozzle. Depending on application as well as operating and cycle time, different jetting modules with round or flat nozzles are used. The maximum blasting width of the widest flat nozzle is 125 mm.
