Industry Prize 2008
On the first day of this years` Hanover Fair, our Compressed Air Heater AH-8500 was distinguished with an innovation award in the category "surface engineering". The compressed air heater successfully competed against 600 entries.
The product is characterized by its compact form and capacity. Compressed air can be heated up to a temperature of 100 °C at a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar and a maximal flow of 5,000 l/s. The system includes an integrated safety shutdown and a microprocessor temperature control.
The compressed air heater can be used either in combination with the CO2 snow blasting equipment or together with other blasting machines for dry ice blasting/dry ice cleaning/ice jetting. Other applications include drying components and preheating painting air.
The Hannover Fair is the leading show place for path breaking technology, materials and ideas over the last 60 years. The Industry Prize is awarded yearly by the Initiative Mittelstand on the occasion of the Hanover Fair for the most innovative industrial product and solution, distinguished by its advantages and functionality.
